Sisters Ainbinder - Internationally renowned vocal duo Polina and Svetlana Ainbinder perform Yiddish, Russian and Hebrew romances and folklore songs. Polina Ainbider was the winner of the prestigious second prize in an All Russia competition for which she received a record contract with the national Soviet Russian label Melodia. The duo Ainbinder performed regularly across Russia, Israel, Netherland and Estonia. The duo released two CDs: of Russian Romances and of Yiddish Songs “Tate-Mame Lieder”. In 2003 they won second prize at the International Festival of Jewish Art “Golden Hannukiah”. Further information available on their website:

Mikhail Turovsky - Exhibition and book launch of his collection of aphorisms Itch of Wisdom.

Mikhail Turovsky is an American painter of Ukranian origin. His work is represented in permanent collection of the National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kieve, the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the Yad Vashem Memorial Art Museum, Jerusalem, The Herbert Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University, NY and the Notre ame university Art Museum in Indiana as well as in many publid and private collections. In 2008 Turovsky was awarded the title of People’s Artist of the Ukraine the president of the Ukrain. In 2009 he was voted as a member of the Ukrainian Academy. In addition Turovsky is also the authos of a collection of aphorisms Itch of Wisom (hemlock Press, 1990), considered influential in its genre in Russian. 

Valery Ponomarev - Legendary jazz trumpeter and band leader, who worked with Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers performing worldwide and recording 11 record albums, appearing also in numerous television shows in Europe, Japan and Brazil. In US he featured in television programs on PBS, National Geographic Today and CNN. As solo artist Mr Ponomarev has toured Australia, china and Europe.
